Multicultural stories
terra incognita is a nighttime walk highlighting the residents of the Jeanne-Mance housing complex. The complex is designed as a small, multi-ethnic and multicultural village made up of over 70 nationalities.
terra incognita share the stories of the residents, their perception of the night in Montreal and in their countries.

terra incognita est une promenade nocturne mettant en lumière les résidents des habitations Jeanne-Mance. Ces dernières sont conçues tel un petit village multi-ethnique et multiculturel composé de plus de 70 nationalités.
Le projet est un partage d’histoires des résidents sur leur perception de la nuit à Montreal et dans leur pays natal.
C’est aussi un parcours lumineux et sonore, rassembleur et intimiste, proposé dans le cadre de l’expérience Montréal en lumière – Illuminart 2017. À l’angle des rues Sainte-Élisabeth et Boisbriand, le parcours mettra en lumière les différentes perceptions culturelles associées à la nuit.
Perceptions of the Night
terra incognita is a light and sound trail, unifying and intimate, offered as part of the Montréal en Lumière – Illuminart 2017 experience.
Located at the corner of Sainte-Élisabeth and Boisbriand streets, the trail will highlight the different cultural perceptions associated with the night.
